We look for character, chemistry, and competency.
Character: We care deeply about who someone is on the inside. Integrity, humility, and faithfulness matter.
Chemistry: Do we enjoy working together? Is there trust and alignment?
Competency: Does the partnership align with what each side is uniquely equipped to do?
We never want to ask someone to operate outside their strengths—or to compromise on what they’re called to do. And we don’t require full agreement on every belief. Some of our most fruitful partnerships in community development have come through working with non-Christians—creating space for witness through shared work.
At the end of the day, we’re always looking for what we call a threefold win:
The partner is blessed
The leaders we serve are equipped
Our mission remains vibrant and sustainable
That’s the kind of collaboration that changes the world.
