2. Services Description

• Exponent Group provides a marketplace for connecting service providers with consumers.
• The platform allows for the scheduling of appointments with providers.
• Statement of Care: The Exponent Marketplace does not discriminate or withhold care on any basis of race, creed, religion, gender, color, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, marital status, or national origin. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality, holistic care. 
• The Exponent Marketplace is a digital platform. All of our providers sign a contract and agree to terms that as a platform we seek to serve and empower leaders in their vocation and giftings as followers of Christ. All of our providers agree to offer faith-based services and care, come from diverse theological backgrounds, and commit to holding to the code of ethics related to their field. 
• The Exponent Marketplace is not responsible for matching clients with the correct provider, but to aid in the discernment process between you and the type of care you are looking for. You are responsible to discern which provider that best suits you and your needs.

3. User Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate and complete information.
• Users are responsible for their interactions with service providers and or clients.
• Users agree that they voluntarily sought the Exponent Group Marketplace on their own initiative, and are under no obligation to accept or implement any advice or help that Marketplace Providers offer. Users are free to reject any or all of the assistance or recommendations they receive. Users understand that the Exponent Group Marketplace does not guarantee any results.

4. Exponent Group’s Role

• Exponent Group acts as a facilitator and is not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers.
• While we strive to maintain a safe and reliable platform, we are not responsible for the actions of users or the quality of services provided during appointments.
• Exponent Group Marketplace Providers are not providing the Client with psychoanalysis, psychological counseling, or behavior therapy. The Client acknowledges that the use of the Marketplace does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that the Marketplace is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed.

5. Dispute Resolution

• Exponent Group will provide assistance in resolving disputes between users and providers.
• We reserve the right to take necessary action based on the outcome of the dispute resolution process.
• You are encouraged to report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to the Exponent Group team.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Exponent Group is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or from any transactions with service providers or clients.
• Users agree not to hold Exponent Group, their respective owners, and employees against any claims, liabilities, expenses, damages, losses, causes of action, and suits (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of, or any way related to, the User’s participation and/or any activity engaged in by the participant with Exponent Group Marketplace.

• We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, as well as information about your use of the platform.

3. Use of Information

• Your information is used to facilitate the services offered on the platform, improve user experience, and communicate with you.

• Exponent Group will not sell your personal information to third parties.
• User information may be shared with service providers as necessary to provide the requested services.

5. Security & Confidentiality

• We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your information and confidentiality of your interactions with service providers/clients.
• I understand and agree that Exponent Group Marketplace and/or Marketplace Providers are required by law to report information to law enforcement agencies in these instances: 1. When there is a reasonable basis to believe or suspect that a person may take harmful, dangerous, or criminal action against another person or against him/herself; and/or 2. When there is a reasonable basis to believe or suspect a situation involving any act of child or elderly abuse or neglect.  

6. Changes to This Policy

• We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
